Nous voilà donc parti pour notre première sorti dans Boston. Direction Central station sur la ligne rouge du "magnifique" métro Bostonien. On se retrouve entre stagiaire dans un bar, pas de grande ambiance, une bière plus tard on est reparti. A noter que la bière américaine n'étant pas fameuse, j'ai décidé de rester fidèle à une bieère Berlinoise (Becks) qui, après vérification sur la bouteille, était périmé depuis 1 an... Passons...
On arrive dans un petit bar, moyenne d'âge 40 ans :) mais avec un groupe de rock qui joue en live. On décide de rester et on est pas déçu. Cela fait du bien d'entendre quelques classiques :) Et oui tous les matins, sur notre chemin pour le boulot, on a le droit aux mêmes chansons (R'n'B, derniers tubes pop...) Les radios américaines connaissent 3 artistes et 5 chansons en tout. Autant dire que ce n'est pas très diversifié et d'après David, et cela ne me rassure pas, ça n'a pas changé depuis 1 mois...
Revenons à notre soirée, on s'assoit à une table et puis un black vient nous parler en français. Il s'avère être le chanteur du prochain groupe. Il a vécu quelques années en France et a participé à plusieurs émissions. Il est actuellement en tournée aux états-unis. Je ne me souviens plus de son nom mais il nous a donné un cd donc je corrigerai cet oubli dès que possible. En tout cas, très gentil et facile d'accès et très bon chanteur.
Bilan de la soirée, ça fait du bien d'écouter du rock et du blues :)

First evening out and direction to central station with the "fabulous" metro of Boston :) All interns in Parexel (4 for the moment and soon 3) are there. We went to a first pub, not too much people and one live but not free so we decided to not go. We took a beer (non american :) ). I decided too stay a regular consumer of Beck's (Berliner Beer) until that I discovered that the import beer was out-of-date more than one year :) (it didn't change the taste by the way). Let's go to the next pub.
We arrived and entered in (show your id). That simply impossible to enter in almost every pub in Boston if you're not 21 :) Average of age inside : 40. But there is some live music so we decided to stay. Especially because it's some rock classic. Radio's around Boston only know 3 artists and 5 different songs. So you could imagine how boring it is each morning when we spend 40 minutes in the car to go to our workplace :) That's why I was so happy to listen to some Rock and Blues. We sat around a table and few minutes after we begun to speak a black guy came and begun to speak with us in French. In fact He lived few years in France and he was the singer of the band who played next. Very friendly, he offered to us a CD and described what he was doing there. Nice guy. I forgot his name but I'll correct my mistake as soon as I can :). Great blues' singer by the way :)
To sum up, great evening spent to listen to rock and blues :)
